So I’m wondering if there is a such thing that covers the engine bay opening that block the rain from coming it. I know the Fiero can change there opening to closed by replacing the vents.

I've thought about making something to put under there too, to help drain everything away from... everything...

would you be better off putting rain shields over the important bits in the engine bay itself?

cause the airflow in MR2’s is from beneath and the sides of the car up through the lid, if you put rain shields that block that airflow you’re gonna have a bad time.

I think the turbo lid has some kind of covers in it?

Look up a 914 drip tray. It’s a tray that hangs down a bit so air can flow around it, and it’s got a drain hole on each side. It drains into two accordion tubes with funnels at the top. I’m sure something could be made like that if there isn’t already. It’s marginally effective. The main electrical panel and the battery for some reason are under the two openings that do not have drip trays so who knows why they even bothered but the engine seems to stay dry.

Someone has replaced your stock rain guard with the twosRus rain guard eliminator:

I see the intercooler piping, so yours is a turbo. It should look like this:
